About the Author Jodi Leigh Miller earned the title of Ms. Natural Olympia in 2011 and 2012, and set national and world records in the American Powerlifting Federation and World Powerlifting Congress. Jodi is currently a top-five national-level National Physique Committee (NPC) Women’s Physique Competitor and has previously competed in Figure and Bodybuilding, having won the 2007 NPC Team Universe in the lightweight bodybuilding division. She holds a BA in English from the University of Texas at Austin, a lifetime secondary teaching certification in Texas, and is a certified personal trainer.Yuri Diogenes, M.S, MBA, technical speaker and author of more than ten technical books about technology and information security published in United States and Brazil. In the past Yuri was also a University Professor and a Certified Instructor. After his journey to lose one hundred pounds, Yuri became a NPC (National Physique Committee) bodybuilder competitor.

A real-life guide to achieve your objectives By Jose Neto The authors have succeeded to combine objective and useful information, ranging from mindset changes to nutrition and training, and even how to perform better at work, with a pleasant solid narrative that makes this well-structured book a must read.It’s amazing to read the real life stories these two authors share with us and how they have transformed their lives thru the same steps described in the book. The experiences and guidance they share have vastly resonated with my own life experiences as I devoured thru chapters that will definitively assist to define and apply good practices to achieve my life goals.

The guide will help you really By Luciano de Lima I was looking for a book that could guide me in a practical and simple way to start doing physical activities and balance my diet, was where I found the book Ready, Set, Achieve!The book is just amazing, because in less than 15 days I could already reduce 5 KG of my weight and I'm doing physical activity daily.If you are looking for a book to give you the right tips and an incentive to get you started this is the book.

By Professor This book manages to be a deeply thought provoking yet easy to read must-have for every personal library. The "all-or-nothing" approach, ingrained in the minds of many, proves to be a flawed mindset based on the stories provided by Jodi and Yuri. They advocate harmonizing life goals that resemble the Greek ideal of balance: pursuit of excellence of the mind, the physical body, and the emotional being; one does not have to experience sabotage for the sake of the other. Whether your background is that of education with growth mindset influences or that of business models focused on 21st century skills like collaboration, you will connect with this book.Ready, Set, Achieve! is not all fluff however: it provides exploratory questioning drills, check lists, and how-to's. It encourages the reader to be independent and research his or her situation, to determine the challenges and benefits, and prepare for achievement. The footnotes littered throughout the pages also encourage the reader to look beyond the book and see real-life examples of a particular topic discussed by the authors.I have the benefit of seeing these authors live what they preach via social media and personally. That is a rare gem to have as a reader.
