Very superficial overview of off-grid living. To the author, off-grid means living in the middle of the woods, apparently like a caveman, where you cook can cook with either an open fire or on hot rock surfaces. Yet, he talks about growing plants indoors under LED lights etc with no mention of power consumption needs. Includes cursory overview of permaculture, aquaponics and hunting. However, important details like needing to have a hunting license, how to skin and gut the animal, aging the meat, storage etc are not covered. Only for the absolute novice but read with a large grain of salt. The book is not written by someone who knows what they're talking about
