Yoga For Midlife Pain Relief is a mini roadmap to mind-body wellness with tips and tricks that are easily navigated. Because of Catherine's deep well of knowledge, she manages to incorporate everything you ever wanted to know from a yogi. She seamlessly incorporates personal experiences, useful pearls of wisdom, and detailed knowledge of the practice. Rather than bombarding you with an overload of technical jargon, Catherine relays the information on a personal level. She relates as a person who invites you to walk alongside her on the journey while pointing out different paths. Her style makes the book easy to read by turning a what could seem like a lecture into more of a conversation. Sometimes it feels like she knows the objections you have to a concept even before you do.As a student of yoga, I believe Catherine summarizes the most important foundations for living an authentic life. She outlines the eight limbs, history, benefits, breathing and focus techniques, energy modalities and the optimal diet for health and happiness. These pages hold a little bit of something for everyone.

This book provides a simple but comprehensive roadmap to healing and living a happy healthy authentic life through yoga, meditation and positive thinking. There is a wealth of Yogi wisdom packed into these pages. I literally could not put the book down. I have already marked the pages that I will refer to again and again. It will help you understand the connection of mind, body, AND spirit, in releasing ANY and ALL types of pain. And if you study LOA, you will LOVE how she connects the two.
