About the Author Deidre Edwards knows from experience that it is never too late for self-growth and transformation. finding yet another avenue to share her medical background, teaching skills, and passion for self-improvement and natural healing, she is now sharing with others her discoveries to total mind-body-spirit wellness through her writing and Designed for Health Seminars. Her daughter's decade-long struggle with undiagnosed Celiac Disease initially drove her to seek answers beyond conventional wisdom, and Deidre dived into a deeper study of how foods affect the mind, body, and spirit. Whether it's reducing your stress, transforming your diet, or forming new habits, this book educates and inspires By Sally Miller “Toolkit for Wellness” is a complete guide to a healthier, stress-free life. I’ve read various books that discuss habit formation, nutrition, and exercise. But this is the first that packages everything into one easy-to-read volume.One thing I LOVE about this book is that the author explains why certain changes are good for us. For example, the author gives an easy to understand explanation of how our body works. Yet this isn’t a dry or stuffy read. Quite the opposite - reading this book is like chatting with a knowledgeable and caring relative.Lastly “Toolkit for Wellness” is incredibly practical. You have no excuse not to take action. Each chapter concludes with a set of take away actions you can apply right away. Whether it's reducing your stress, transforming your diet, or forming new habits, this book educates and inspires. There’s even a handy chapter of recommended recipes.I’m grateful to the author for sharing her wisdom with us and will be recommending “Toolkit for Wellness” to friends and family.

By Melita Vlatko-Rulo I thoroughly enjoyed reading Deidre Edwards 'Toolkit for Wellness' and agree how powerful our thought processes are and how they can dictate our wellness. Deidre explains that we have the tools to create a healthier life through choosing to be an active participate in our wellness.She gives some fantastic tips, I especially love her take on turning the thought process around when she feels sick for example, to avoid giving energy to negative thoughts.I found the part about becoming aware of your thoughts and how to test the theory by sending someone good positive thoughts without them being consciously aware really interesting. Especially observing how they subconsciously react, with some form of acknowledgement.Overall I highly recommend reading “Toolkit for Wellness” and will use Deidre’s lovely positive affirmation to start my day tomorrow, “This is a beautiful day and I will be a part of that beauty in all I say and do”. Fantastic book!

Are you eating too much? Can food solve your mood swings and heal all your illnesses? Is much of what you're eating safe, or is it doing more harm than good?With a background in nursing and teaching, Deidre knows a thing or two about the truth behind the questions on food and eating that plague our minds most days. Her book is more than just about food though, it's about improving your families health and their total wellness.I like the way the author talks about health being more than what you eat. It's also includes how you think, your emotions and the spiritual aspect of your life. This book has a lot of descriptive content that breaks down the meaning of what wellness really means.So, if you are wanting to know how to reduce stress and live healthier, then do your life a favor and embrace this book with passion.
