1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. amazing heart By Mary W. I read the whole book and loved it. Inspiring and tender, well-organized, therapeutically sound and well-crafted. Honest and emotionally open. Tons of useful and practical tactics as well as a fully developed philosophical foundation. On the journey toward self-discovery and wellness, this is a wonderful personal map that each person can work on in his/her own way, not being pushed or pulled in anyone else's wake or list of priorities. I like that it offers so many questions that invite true reflection and the freedom to find one's own answers.I had the privilege to watch as Rebecca tackled some of the life-changing and life-affirming moments she shares in this book; she did so with courage, kindness, determination and faith in "something" that all would work out somehow, someway, sometime and she would be the richer for the experience. This book is an honest reflection of a centered, compassionate and honest woman who has taken big risks, endured loss and uncertainty and opened herself up to experiencing life with all its hidden curves, steep mountains and peaceful valleys. I also loved the illustrations and quotes; they helped focus the chapter and added another dimension for exploration.
1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. WELL WORTH IT! By Paul B. I was so excited to read this unique and thought provoking guide to mindfulness written by my mentor, Rebecca Jane. Her book so eloquently explores change, emotions, body, relationships, and fear without unnecessary jargon. I especially enjoyed her use of personal narrative, visuals, and audio meditations. If you desire to overcome life's ubiquitous challenges with practicality and a positive mindset, this toolkit is certainly for you!
