Especially when your on a budget & cannot afford to go out & buy all those special foods. Or having to eat foods you don't like just to try to lose weight. Its also very frustrating trying to count points, carbs, calories etc. With Keto in 28 I found that all the recipes contain stuff I either buy or already have in my cupboards. For me when looking into a new diet I get so overwhelmed with recipes that call for all different kinds of ingredients. Especially ingredients we NEVER heard of before. I didn't get overwhelmed at all with Keto in 28!I love how clearly Michelle Hogan speaks in this book! As I began reading I felt as if she was speaking to me not around me! I love the introduction in which she briefly explains how she ended up doing the Keto Diet. Which I love that she was open that definitely makes it more personal for me. She even walks you through understanding ratios which is always important not just for dieting either. She provides a distinctive list of foods we can eat & foods in which we should avoid.My favorite part of this book, is when Michelle gives a very detailed list of pantry essentials to have on hand which you can find on page 32. This may be overwhelming to some. But for me, I found it extremely helpful. When dieting most times we just start & then we find ourselves going to the store & spending a ton of money we don't have. With this pantry list I went into my cupboard & wrote down what I did have then made a list of what I needed. I took the list with me shopping so I could look at prices at each store & I was able to get majority of them & I found a lot of them on sale! This is why I loved that part because I could have everything I needed before starting. And for each recipe the foods they called for I already had on hand. Such as beef,shrimp, meatballs, pork chops, chicken etc. On page 43-53 Michelle even made 4 charts which are labeled Week One Menu, Week Two Menu all the way to Week Four. And following each menu she gives us Week One Shopping List, Week Two Shopping List etc. And at the bottom of each menu she even listed a couple snacks we can eat throughout the day. So we don't have to plan or try to figure it out she did ALL the work for us. You can swap out the meals with ones you like! I personally stuck with her meals plans as that was easier for me.Overall I really enjoyed reading Keto in 28! I highly recommend it to anyone who is struggling with weight loss.I received this product for FREE, in exchange for my honest & unbiased opinion.

By Jennifer Adamson I'm definitely a carb loving person that needs to cut back and have never thought that may be why I'm tired all the time. I've never heard of a keto lifestyle but received this book to review and it has opened me up to new options when it comes to making meals. I've been trying to find new and good for me meals to take to work and easy to make when I get home to help me cut back on eating out and filling up on starches and this was the right book for me.I love how I get meal planning help and recipes so I can go to the store with meals already mapped out in my head, instead of grabbing what's on sale or sounds good at the time. My favorite part of this book, is the fact that the ingredients are things I know, I hate trying to find something new to try and there's ingredients you've never heard of or something you can't use in multiple dishes. This was a good read and really opened my eyes to some new things, I don't know if I will be able to follow the keto lifestyle long term but there's definitely some yummy things in here for me to venture out to. Excellent for Keto and Paleo Enthusiasts By mhorris46 In Keto in 28, the author gives an overview of the Keto Diet, but also explains the biological basis of the Keto Diet, and what to expect in terms of your body’s reaction to the change in diet. This book interested me because of my husband’s Type 2 Diabetes diagnosis earlier this year, and learning how to cut carbohydrates in our diet is something I need to learn how to do while still providing nutritious and tasty meals. I’m not sure about the high-fat portion of this diet plan, but will be discussing all this with his doctor and nutritionist.The book includes a complete 28-day meal plan, along with a shopping list and suggested staples to keep on hand in your kitchen. I was surprised to see dessert recipes, as well, which will make my husband happy. The recipes themselves seem to be easy, using ingredients I don’t have to look up on Google.All in all, I would definitely suggest this book for someone looking for a diet plan that won’t leave them hungry or feeling deprived of “regular” food.I received my book free in exchange for an honest review.
