As someone who struggles with weight issues i found it was very useful to learn about the science of metabolism, dieting and healthy feeding/nutrition. Ray’s writing style is very easy to understand. For someone who’s not well versed in science i was able to understand a great deal of the technical aspects of metabolism and dieting thanks to the simple manner in which the book was written. My favorite part of the book was his discussion on why the developing countries like Peru and other latin American countries experience 50% less cancer incidents. The primary takeaway i got from that is all our health and wellness issues are a result of our diet, and if we can modify our diet and eat appropriately we can live happier and healthier lives. The book is a very enjoyable read with lots of actionable takeaways . I think anyone that wants to live a healthier , happier life would enjoy this book. And the healthy recipes at the end are a very nice touch. :)

By Vanessa Kings It’s hard to find the perfect book about weight loss, since they usually explain everything with a language too technical for regular people to understand, and at the end they don’t provide useful tips to change our eating routine.“Paleo Diet: The Science of Ketogenic Weight loss” is very different to all the weight loss books that I’ve read so far. Ray Reynolds has a unique writing style and reading it was a pleasure, even the very technical explanations were easy to understand and though provoking.I’ve learned so much with this book that is impossible to describe. Now I know what I need to change on my daily routine to give my family and me a healthier life.But with this book not everything is explanations and theories, it also contains some healthy recipes at the end of the book!I am very excited to start doing everything I learned with this book (Including the recipes!).

I love the science behind this book and the credibility it offers. It's not your every day trendy book on losing weight which may help at first, but you just end up back in the same cycle of putting more weight on over and over.This book dives deeper, providing insight into the biology of weight CONTROL so that you can learn to be in control of your own body and weight, instead of being controlled by whims and fads. This is such a great addition to my health books that will surely be something I recommend to friends. If you're interested in not only losing weight, but learning how to manage your healthy lifestyle, this is the book for you!
