About the Author Mr. Ashie is an engineer, musician, songwriter, arranger and producer originally from Ghana, West Africa. He completed his primary and secondary school education in Ghana before coming to the US to attend engineering college. Music performances and studio recordings of popular West African music and originals which started in Accra, Ghana have continued over the years in the US with various groups in New York, Chicago, LA and San Diego, CA.

The description with in each short story truly allowed me to visualize what was transpiring. I would recommend this text to someone who is looking to gain perspective, and knowledge of African culture, it is also suitable for a college course.
