A factual and realistic presentation for those who need answers as they navigate their transgender journey through transition and beyond. I wish I had had a guide like this 30+ years ago! It's never too late to be yourself and Dr Linda Gromko has put the information in an easily readable format with references to pursue further as needed.I will be recommending this book to all who ask me "How do I get there from where I am?"

3 of 3 people found the following review helpful. Great guidebook! By Corgiville I bought this book to give to my teen. When it arrived, I decided to read it first. I'm glad I did. It answered a lot of questions *I* had about practical matters (blockers, hormones, legal document changes) and it gave me insight into the physical and emotional journey that my kid is navigating. The author did an excellent job of packing a substantial amount of information into a very readable book.
