I learned new hand positions to use while drawing as well as toning and shading my drawing. There’s also a step by step procedures on how to do portrait drawing, drawing from memory and dealing with drawing mistakes. It was fun to try the suggestions given as well I think. This is something I can share with my son who also likes to draw.

He's been showing an interest in drawing and we would really like to encourage him with it. Personally though I am not a creative person so I thought it would be a great idea for the both of us to bond over drawing. Eva's book has been a big help in even making my personal drawings bearable.

It reads like a book of instructions on how to put together something from Ikea. The handful of basic illustrations look like they are taken from Pixar's website. Nuff said. PS Five star reviews? Uggghhh. PPS I am a professional cartoonist living in Australia. My advice is to save your money (I downloaded this book while it was free) and spend it on a pen and some paper and just draw. PPPS Any down votes of my review will have come via one FB group or another. Ignore them. This book really does s#ck the big one.
