At first I was kind of intrigued because I did not know fermented foods were so healthy for you. But Alison explained in great detail on how they can be. She even told you how to make your own cottage cheese, even homemade sauerkraut and pickles.The thing I liked most about the book is that Alison even told you how to make beer with fermented foods that makes it healthy. I will definitely try some of these recipes in my eating healthy journey....and I would recommend you try them too!

3 of 3 people found the following review helpful. Easily Digestible and healthy By Allen Fermented food are the foods which pass through the process of fermentation and generate lactic acid. This process preserves the food, creates good enzymes, vitamins and omega 3 fatty acids. This book is a great one for the fermented food lovers. I myself find them quite delicious. The small booklet contains some great recipes which are easy to prepare and are very healthy. They are worth trying and they are going to keep your digestion in a good state, which is the root of the good health overall. Good effort by the author!

Also, the health benefits of fermenting. A must have for those who experience digestive problems. I suffer from celiac disease and found some relief by fermenting milk into kefir, and love the taste. I added fruit and honey, simply delicious. Next week, I plan to brew kombutcha. Happy brewing All!

About the Author Charles Darwin was an English naturalist and author best-known for his revolutionary theories on the origin of species, human evolution, and natural selection. A life-long interest in the natural world led Darwin to neglect his medical studies and instead embark on a five-year scientific voyage on the HMS Beagle, where he established his reputation as a geologist and gathered much of the evidence that fuelled his later theories.A prolific writer, Darwin s most famous published works include The Voyage of the Beagle, On the Origin of Species, The Descent of Man, and Selection in Relation to Sex, and The Expression of Emotions in Man and Animals. Darwin died in 1882, and in recognition of his contributions to science, is buried in Westminster Abbey along with John Herschel and Isaac Newton.

Mozart's Grace By Bob This book is an extraordinarily intelligent, sensitive, and perceptive study of the details of Mozart's writing that makes his music so wonderful. It will, however, be, perhaps, more of value to readers who can read music scores than to those who cannot, since there are many long passages from various Mozart compositions throughout the book.

Trtek A good half of this books consists of musical scores, and since I'm not trained in music and cannot read it, all those pages were lost on me. Burnham's text, however, is very illuminating, and by actually playing recordings of the pieces cited, it's possible to follow his essays on what makes Mozart's music so very special. If you are an enthusiastic layman like me, don't be afraid to tackle this short book -- even shorter if you skip the scores. Come armed with a good memory or some compact discs, and enjoy the ride.

This book caught my attention because the topic of strong mental health is instrumental in not just achieving your goals, but overall happiness. I found this to be an interesting and informative book. It answered alot of my questions about how to approach mental health and I liked the length of it. I really liked how it was written to help the reader become very proactive in regards to mental health. If you are looking for a book with some good tips, advice and information then give this one a try. As the author says at the start, once you understand the principle, you can build your own techniques to improve your life and that is what I have found myself doing without even realising it. Goodsell My daughter was recently diagnosed with Hashimotos and I've been searching for solid holistic and dietary advice.This is a 20-page leaflet in a huge font. I bought it because it states, "..step by step dies plan and recipes for Hashimoto's Disease," yet there is NO diet plan, just two pages of general information such as, "4 cups of vegetables are highly recommended daily, and they should never be all the same color." There are NO RECIPES. I found more detailed and better information on one Pinterest post or on online blogs than in this farce of a "book."In all my years of ordering on Amazon, this is the first return.

I love eggs, but I've never been able to do something much fancier than scrambling, but the frittatta has proven to be an easy way to to make healthy fancy eggs! And it's fast. I like to make my fritattas with tomatoes, mushrooms, and olives. The advice in this book is practical. YOu will find good food, and you won't find yourself hungry.

The recipes are easy to follow and I have most of the ingredients already so I don't have to buy a bunch of specialty items. The food tastes so good! The book is educational without being boring. I'm recommending this book to everyone!

Her approach to making living with autoimmune disease is so easy and she really takes the time constraints of real life living and makes it easy to work with in every day life. I absolutely love this book, it is full of knowledge and tips and amazing recipes. It is so hard to find protocols that don't include making every day life a battle and she has found a simple approach to helping people without consuming every second of life trying to figure out what you should and shouldn't do with autoimmune disease. Amazing and so worth the money! It will be a staple in anybody's kitchen who is living with autoimmune disease. She has made it her life goal to help people who struggle with autoimmune and she is incredibly knowledgable and practical.

May be all of us knows that Carbs can really make us fat or gain weight, but upon reading this book it teaches me how to eat Carbs which does not makes me fat. The author shares that not all Carbs makes us fat meaning not all carbs considered as our enemy. The author is also correct that everything always starts within us, we need to discipline ourselves and apply exercise to loss our weight because it will not come like a meteors.

There is a lot of inspiration in this book. When I tangle, I need a book or two to refer to. I can't seem to just sit down and find my own designs but if I have a book in front of me, I get tons of inspiration and ideas. I used to buy the Zentangle books that have a dozen or so pages with different step by step individual tangles but I stopped getting those because once you learn the design or tangle, you don't really need the book anymore. There are so many good ideas and clever tangles. I am very happy with the purchase and will look for more of his books in the future.

I was expecting to see photos of zen doodles in it but I did not. I was quite disappointed at first but as I click to see the next pages, I felt excited to know that the author also provided websites and applications that are specifically for zen doodles and patterns. I was able to get good pattern and design ideas from those websites. Aside from the websites, the best part of this book is when it discussed why zen-doodling is the best way to relax, and I agree, the experience of creating or even watching zen doodles is extraordinary. If you are into art or not, zen doodle would be great for you. Learn how to create doodles with book.

When I saw this book I quickly get it. This book explained to me what zendoodle is. I understand now why is it relaxing to watch or draw with zendoogle. I learned how I can draw it by myself. I also learned where to find patterns. This book shows the benefits of zendoodle. I have a nice time trying to do zendoodle. I will show my drawings to my friend now.

    0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. great book! By lena Great recipes! You do not need to follow a Ketogenic diet to use these recipes. I especially liked the lists of foods to eat. The authors do a good job of explaining how this diet is healthy and how to start this process. Particularly valuable are the recipes for condiments and salad dressings which eliminate a lot of the chemically enhanced, poor oil and high fructose corn syrup products that are currently on the market.
